Add a new feature request or vote for an existing one and all of your dreams will come true.

What suggestions do you have to improve Learning Suite?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

  1. Link College Mission/Vision/Values and Program Outcomes to LS syllabus.

Link College Mission/Vision/Values and Program Outcomes to Learning Suite Syllabus. Currently, learning outcomes are linked but mission/vision/values and program outcomes are not.

  2. Ability to adjust vertical spacing in text.

Ability to adjust vertical spacing in text. For example, tables that are copied into the syllabus have a double spaced vertical height per row making them twice as tall as they need to be.

  3. Option to hide due date for assignments

The due dates for our assignments vary based on individual section. To allow flexibility, all assignments are currently due last day of class. I would prefer being able to hide this information to avoid confusion.

  7. Change syllabus default to view instead of edit after it has been created.

The default for the instructor is as if each time he/she goes onto Syllabus.byu.edu that our goal is to set up a new syllabus. Why can't the default view be adjusted to going directly to a specific point of entry (as is possible with Blackboard, Instructure/Canvas, etc.)?

  8. Designate default library based on the location of the class.

The library hours in Syllabus Builder defaulted to the the Lee Library for courses that were taught at the SLC. This may in fact also be a problem for the Hunter Law Library and the library of the London Center. They wondered whether it would be useful for a class to identify a default library based on where the class is taught and then present those hours in the syllabus.
