  2. Select multiple files to upload at once into Content pages

    Joel noticed when uploading content to his Content tab in Learning Suite that he is only able to select one file at a time to upload. Joel would like to have the ability to select multiple files to upload all at once.

  3. Managing multiple sections

    It would be helpful if instructors could group all available sections together when posting the content, but could then allow TAs the option of customizing their own sections after that. Otherwise, I'm required to separately post all 14 sections using the copy content function. This would be fine except that the copy content function apparently changes the schedule for each section based on each section's meeting time. So if customization isn't an option, can there be an override of the system's schedule adjustments when copying content? Something like, "Maintain scheduled dates when copying content?" or something?

  4. Enable assignments in which students can post their own grade.

    I would like students to be able to report their own grade on assignments like readings (without having to upload an attachment).

  5. Select whether grades are released to students after they have been entered

    Sometimes you want to wait until grades are entered for the entire class or all the assignments until you release them for students to view. Or maybe you want to return an assignment before releasing grades.

  6. Add support for right-to-left languages

    Our course websites were much more effective when we could include (and ask students to produce) material in the target language on the site.

    Learning Suite still provides no support for right-to-left languages.

  7. Speed up inbox load time

    Learning Suite seems to load all messages at once when I click on the inbox icon, but I'm usually only concerned with clearing the new message indicator by viewing my most recently received messages. I'd rather it load messages individually, on-demand, than all at once.

  8. Button to hide/unhide site header

    Simple UI request: add a button to hide the site header, much like the one on the scrolling header and footer on scriptures.lds.org. It's kind of big (takes up about 1/4 of usable space in my browser).

  9. Internal Linking System

    It would be great if Learning Suite had an internal linking system (for example, allowing an announcement to link to content/assignments). Currently, it appears only external URLs can be posted.

  10. Autosave message drafts

    I use group messages to provide feedback on assignments. Twice today I've had to retype extensive messages because Learning Suite (unlike, say, Gmail) doesn't autosave the text input--once due to a logout even after I clicked the "keep working" button. This would be a very helpful feature to add.

  12. Copy rubrics within a course

    I use the same rubric for different assignments. However, the assignments have different scores so I need to adjust the point values on each rubric. To accomplish this, I've had to create a new rubric for each point level and re-type all the criteria descriptions. Is it possible to allow copying of rubrics so I don't have to re-type everything? I realize that I could use weighted scores, but the way my course is set up that is not the best option.

  14. Digital Dialog - student list

    When viewing Digital Dialog from the student perspective (instructor view), please give options for how to list the discussions, e.g. alphabetical, number of replies, date, original order, etc. It is difficult to see what I'm trying to find when it seems like a haphazard listing.

  15. Equation editing

    I need equation editing, but I typically use MathType (an enhanced version of equation editor) instead of LaTex or some other markup language. Some ability to interface with that would be nice. I'm not sure yet on how well it cuts and pastes in from Word.

    It would be nice if a "scrubber" bar could be added to posted videos so that students can skip to desired parts or rewatch specific parts.

  17. Ability to email by classes, semesters/terms, groups within classes

    More ability to choose who we email. I need to email 3 of my four classes the same thing but can only chose to email all students together or by the individual class. Please let us chose what classes to email.

    Furthermore, I'd like to email students in upcoming semesters/terms, I'd like that option.

    Lastly I'd like to create groups within a single section of a class. the 32 students are divided into groups of 4. I would like to be able to group these students to email them in one go rather than selecting the 4 each time I…

  20. Place some visual indicator on grade columns that are hidden from student view

    Current Situation: In the Gradebook, I can go to a grade column-->click the down arrow-->click on Edit Assignment-->select Scheduling (tab at top)-->and then fill in the Hide an Assignment box for a date in the future. Once that date is populated, I have no way of knowing that the grade column is hidden for my students, unless I open up the Edit Assignment dialogue box again. This is especially problematic for courses that get copied from one semester to another; those "hide until dates" appear to copy to the next semester (and increment the year to the next year so…
