Change comma-separated values in fill-in-the-blank to semi-colon delimited
We are concerned with comma-separated values in the fill-in-the-blank answers. We are wondering if it would be possible to change that to semi-colon delimited instead so their students can put in their high-dollar amounts in their fill-in-the-blank questions.-Accounting
Thank you for your request.

A fairly straightforward, and incredibly helpful fix. Thanks!

In order for us to effectively use open-ended quizzes with numerical responses, the system CANNOT use commas to separate the various acceptable answers. For example, consider the following variations we have to use if the answer to the question is $12,500.
$12,000; $12000; 12000; 12,000; $12,000.00; $12000.00; 12,000.00; 12000.00
This range of answers is necessary to our questions, but not possible if commas are used by the system to designate different answers. Students instinctively use commas in formatting numerical answers. Giving them instructions to avoid commas is so strange to their normal behavior that only some of them are consciously able to make that change. This means that we have to constantly troll through hundreds of answers to find instances where students used commas. Please make this change ASAP!
