Create a view of a student's performance over time
Allow an instructor (and even the student) to view a plot of any particular student's overall grade as a function of time. This would enable us to see if a student performed better in the class at the beginning of the semester, at the end, or fairly constant throughout. Allow it to be compared with a trend line for the highest and the average grade in the class. In addition to providing insight to individual student circumstances, it would also help show if the course is well paced or if some portions of the course might be taught too quickly or without enough detail.
Thank you for your request. We have added it to our enhancement ticketing system. Enhancement Request #7794—
Toggle Current Progress for Students Performance

Definitely a needed feature, especially with FERPA concerns.
On a TA or Instructor's page of student grades, there's a big need to enable the viewing of a single student's grades so that a student can look with the admin at the screen at the same time to verify things. As it stands, a student cannot look at the grading screen with the instructor without violating FERPA--Most TAs and instructors are likely good about this, but I'd be surprised if it's not happening at all. A little surprised that this has not come up, especially as it represents an area relatively rich in potential legal issues as far as functionality goes in Learning Suite.
I think the simplest way to get a quick fix out for this would be to enable a filter or drop-down on the grades page to show just a single student's information in the existing grade table. This would eliminate the much more costly (long-term solution--maybe) of developing a separate page for viewing a single student's grades. Alternatively/additionally, an icon could be added next to each student to toggle viewing only that student's information in the table.
