What suggestions do you have to improve Learning Suite?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Give students the ability to just view files instead of downloading them.

    When posting a document to a discussion group it gives the students a button that will download the file for them. There are two issues with this approach - They may be on a device or in a location where saving is not appropriate, helpful or available (on an iPad, for example). The suggestion is that we give them more than one button - perhaps a "View" and a "Save As"

  2. Have keyboard shortcuts for navigation

    Have keyboard shortcuts to quickly navigate through posts and threads (I.e. Like the way you can move from message to message, and from conversation to conversation in Outlook (up and down arrows), being able to collapse and expand conversations with the right and left arrows).

  3. Enable email notification for Digital Discussions in classes which use it

    A few classes I know of use "Digital Discussions" as a kind of forum for discussing the class. It would be nice if I could receive notifications via e-mail when others post, either in general or in only threads which I have commented.

  5. Disable notifications for specific chain emails

    You should be able to mute notifications on specific email threads. This way, students can silence uninteresting email threads, so that when they get a notification they can have higher confidence that it will be relevant to them.
