Better Formatting for Written Answers in Exams
When you enter in a written answer for an exam on learning suite, all formatting is lost when you save. If you added paragraphs or indents, they are eliminated. Instead of an easy to read list of bullet points, the answer is just line after line. Italics and bolding is also eliminated.
Example of what it looks like after submission: Bullet section: (that was me trying to bold my section of bullet points with a subtitle) •This is my example of how the bullet points just keep going and they are not organized. •Here is my new bullet on the same line as the last instead of one a new line. •And my last bullet as well. And this is me trying to add a new paragraph after my bullets, but it is still on the same line.
This makes it very difficult for professors or TAs to grade our answers. It also makes our responses appear very unprofessional, like we threw our answer together, instead of a well, though-out response.
