Allow me to temporarily create/add assignments in the "What if calculator."
Not all teachers post assignments on Gradebook before they are submitted. It would be nice if I could add in the final to get a better idea of my position in the class.

More Grading Statistics (Standard Deviation, median, Q1, and Q3)
The new statistics section looks good! Thank you for adding that. In addition to the statistics currently given, I recommend adding a few more.
Specifically, the standard deviation and the median score would be extremely useful.
Additionally, the first and third quartile would be good to know.

Have the ability to disable the "Statistics" button
Learning Suite should implement the ability to disable the statistics button for those who do not want to be compared with other students. Circumstances that factor into how well students do in their classes differ from student to student and it is of no benefit to see that you are not "doing well" compared to other students when you have a red bar that is lower than someone else's. This function does not prepare you to do better on standardized tests which only focuses on skill, not class rank. Rather, this function tells you that if you are doing better…

Get an email when grades are posted
Canvas has the option to get emails when grades get posted. This would be AMAZING to have in Learning Suite.

Let students change posted grades in the What If Calculator
The What If Calculator doesn't let you alter grade of assignments that instructors have already graded and posted. However, these grades are often not final, as instructors will often regrade assignments later, either because the student resubmits the assignment, the instructor give back credit, or the instructor put in an incorrect grade in the first place. Being able to adjust already posted grades in the What If Calculator allows students to get a better idea of their class standing.

Letter Grade Under Assignments
Post letter grade along with percentage under Assignments under Grades like it is under What If Calculator.

For Grading: Add a button next to "Score" that fills in a 100%
I'm a TA grader. Oftentimes, students will get a 100%, or close to that, so having to type in a number for every student takes longer than it could. For example, if the Assignment is out of 50 points, then next to where it says ___ / 50, just add a button that would fill in 50 in the box.
I've attached an image of a rough mockup

Unify view of assignment statistics between student and instructor view
When looking at statistics for a graded item the views differ between the student and instructor view. The student view is much better and I believe when statistics are viewed the student view should appear.

stats
Currently, there is a way to view stats for individual assignments, quizzes, exams, etc. There should be a way to view stats for all sections of the class. For instance, how am I doing on the in-class quizzes compared to the class? What about for the written homework? Right now I can only find stats for individual assignments or my overall grade in the class.
