  1. View quizzes without correct answers highlighted

Helpful study aid to go back and review the quizzes without being given the answer automatically, because the quiz was already taken.

  2. Wrap text in Schedule List

When you look at the schedule for all of the classes, it is inconvenient to have to scroll right and left to see the longer assignment listings. It would be much nicer for the text to wrap, so to speak, so that there would be no need to scroll right to see the text.

it is mean that learning suite says "it was you" if you scored the lowest grade. ):

  5. View previous exam answers when multiple submissions are allowed.

When you complete submit an exam that allows multiple submissions it takes you back to the main exam page (with the "Start Exam Now" button). When you click to start it again you get a blank exam, so you either need to save your answers outside LS (generally a good idea anyway) or you start over. It would be nice to (1) see the answers you submitted after submitting the exam and (2) be able to see and edit your old answers when re-starting an exam.

  7. Add a system clock at the top

There's a deadline paired with assignments that is set to a specific time of day (e.g. 11:59 pm). However, there is no indicator anywhere that shows what time it currently is in the LearningSuite server system. For all I know it could be two minutes faster or slower than what I have on my watch/phone/laptop. Having a clock displayed relative to the system would help prevent last-minute issues

  8. Let students make blog posts under "Digital Dialog"

Right now students can only respond to blog posts. In my BIO130 class we have to email the TA our blog posts and she has to upload them one by one onto Learning Suite instead of each student being able to post their own.

  9. Create Repeating Events in Calendar

There needs to be a way to create a repeating event in the combined calendar for things that teachers haven't put there. I want to, for example, put that I have an online math assignment due every tuesday and thursday rather than have to type it in on each day, each week.

  10. Include a Personal Notes Feature on Learning Suite Quizzes/Exams

There should be a notes section added next to questions on quizzes and exams that we can use to leave notes for ourselves that can be used when we study old quizzes and exams later in the semester. It should be invisible to the grader.

  11. Get an email when grades are posted

Canvas has the option to get emails when grades get posted. This would be AMAZING to have in Learning Suite.

  12. Allow classes appearing in the 'Combined Schedule' to be rearranged

Allow for the rearranging of the classes in the 'Combined Schedule' grid view. Currently classes are listed alphabetically (I believe?), without regard to when the classes occur-- it would be great to be able to manually rearrange the class order and then save their new positions.

  13. Allow for editing graded assignments on What If Calculator

When an assignment receives a grade in learning suite, then you can't edit it in the What If Calculator. Sometimes teachers put in temporary grades and then you can't use the what if calculator accurately. Or maybe there was a problem with the grading and you want to see how much your overall grade would be improved if you got some points back.

  14. Let students change posted grades in the What If Calculator

The What If Calculator doesn't let you alter grade of assignments that instructors have already graded and posted. However, these grades are often not final, as instructors will often regrade assignments later, either because the student resubmits the assignment, the instructor give back credit, or the instructor put in an incorrect grade in the first place. Being able to adjust already posted grades in the What If Calculator allows students to get a better idea of their class standing.

  15. Have the combined schedule default to 7 days showing after chosen

    Duplicate:
    1. Log in to Learning Suite
    2. Click on combined schedule
    3. Click on 7 days to show 7 days (top right corner)

After I log out or move pages and then go back to the combined schedule, I would like it to have stayed on showing the 7 days, rather than going back to 5 days and always reclicking on 7 days.

  17. Give TAs option to select student view as default

As a student, I MUCH prefer the student view over the instructor view, especially with the easy access to the combined schedule. I wish I had the option to change the default view back to student view instead of instructor view. Also, I still have instructor view even though I'm no longer a TA. I just want my beloved student view back and defaulted. :(

  18. Headers in Chronological Order

It would be great to be able to reorder the headers into chronological order instead of alphabetical order. This would also be a fantastic feature in the grid view of the combined schedule, so it was like an actual calendar of my schedule.

  19. The exam and quiz short answer text boxes need to be more than one line deep.

It is a pain even on short answer questions to have to scroll on the one line wide text box to edit through your answer.

  20. Half points on grades round up

If an assignment has a half point, the score will round up. If you click the stats it will show you the real grade. You should show the real grade in the main grades list.
